Dan Garfield is the Co-founder of Codefresh (acquired by Octopus Deploy), a CI/CD platform powered by GitOps and Argo. As an Argo Maintainer, he works primarily on Argo CD and Argo rollouts. He helped create the GitOps Working Group and Open GitOps–a set of principles that define GitOps best practices with over 100 corporate signatories. Dan helped create the most popular GitOps certification with Argo CD and writes consistently about best practices for GitOps involving security, development processes, and scaling.
